Arsenal’s top right-back Hector Bellerin had a meeting with Robert Fernandez in London a little before the international break to consider a move to the Nou Camp in the summer. A radio show called La Graderia stated that the Spaniard thinks that it is time to leave the Premier League. However, a deal will not be easy due to the high demands of the Gunners.
Bellerin has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona, particularly in last year’s summer transfer window, after Dani Alves moved to Juventus. However, the 22-year-old decided that he wants to stay in Arsenal and committed a long-term deal with the team. Unfortunately, his future with the Gunners has come under some scrutiny in the last several weeks after a few reports in Spain claim that Barca has earmarked his signing as a top priority.
Bellerin suggested last week that Arsene Wenger’s future is holding the key to his potential move as he stated that his loyalty to Wenger is more important than money. The radio show added that Bellerin had informed Fernandez that he will be ready to leave Arsenal when the season ends, and his plans will be reinforced if Wenger also leaves.
There is no need to mention that Sport has recently suggested that Barcelona had already begun talks with the Gunners over a deal worth over £34.7m to bring the Spaniard back to his homeland.
