Manchester United will face Zorya Luhansk at Stadion Chornomorets later today. The kick-off is at 6 pm GMT. You can watch the match live on BT Sport 3.
The clash between United and Zorya is a Group A tie, where the two teams will be fighting to make it to the following phase of the Europa League. However, Zorya has knocked out of the competition.
Currently, Fenerbahce is leading with 10 points from five incredible games, and they are one point ahead of United, who hold the second place. Feyenoord is the third in the table with 7 points, and they will be hosting the Turkish outfit in the group stage.
If Feyenoord loses, Jose Mourinho’s side will progress to the next round of the second-tier club competition in Europa and the team will finish second in their group, regardless of the result. However, if the Dutch side wins, they will force United to do their best and avoid a loss in Ukraine in their final group stage tie.
If Feyenoord manage to win and Manchester United finish in a draw, then the Premier League side continue to the next round due to the bigger goal difference between the two teams. However, Jose Mourinho will target a win to make it proceed in the Europa League.
The last time the teams faced each other was at Old Trafford and the match ended in a victory for the United. It was their star player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic that made the goal which made the difference between the sides as it was one of the three victories the Red Devils’ earned in the Europa League.
