What the Managers Say

Joachim Low spoke to BBC Sport about Polosky. The boss stated that it is very hard to replace such a player in the team as he is unique. Low said that Polosky is simply one of the greatest players that Germany has ever produced.

Gareth Southgate spoke to the Guardian about Rashford. The manager stated that he thought that Rashford was excellent in the game versus Chelsea during last week. According to Southgate, the athlete makes powerful runs behind the defenders, and the manager even told us to ask Gary Cahill what a problem that could be. Southgate shared that he liked his mentality when they had him with Under-21s, even if it was only for 10 days. According to the manager, the star player is very humble and very mature, all he wants is to improve and learn. Rashford has an excellent view of the game and for such a young player Southgate thinks that he has an intelligent input when it comes to strategies and tactics. What is important is that he is not afraid to speak his mind, even among older players.
