Interwetten is looking for new markets after this year’s growth

Interwetten is an online casino games and sportsbook operator. After the 2016 financial performance, which ended on 30th September, they decided to update their market. The European Casino reported an increase in their revenue of 27% to €49 million.

The strong successive quarterly performance for this year up to now gave the operator Interwetten hopes that they will be able to make a one billion euro turnover.

This company has produced over €9.6 million in net profit which is up to 18% for last year. Moreover, for this year’s up to date performance and EBITDA, it is up 18% to 11.1 million. It was, of course, aided by their casino games section and the revenue rose up with 42% between this July and September.

This revenue supports the expectations of Interwetten’s current CEO Werner Becher. He believes that the company will, in fact, manage to achieve this year’s targets. He commented on the subject “For sure, like with previous years, 2016 will go down as the most successful year in the company’s history. ” He also said that it is satisfying for Interwetten to see what they managed to do during Euro 2016 and even carry on to the next football season.

The company even updated the market on its next year plans, which is firmly focused on increasing its topical marketing spend in its core markets in Spain and Greece as well as countries which speak German. The operator is also ready to invest in a new core market by creating a significant television presence.
